Learning From My Gambling Failures

I have been wagering on the net or at real life casinos for many years. I have learned, the craving can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it till you are beaten. Markedly if you are on a winning streak. I have been through countless hundreds of dollars in only a tiny period of time and still on occasion, I still go too far. It appears you are only enjoying yourself up until you decide to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and of course you continue advising yourself "I can likely earn it back" ad nauseam. It does not work. Then you get icky in your gut and the harder you try the faster you give away.

When you find that you are up, Remain on the UP! When you start to fritter away, don’t tell yourself, "well only one more" a number of times, believe me, this plan barely ever functions. Say you are wagering on slot machines, keep an amount separate ahead of starting your betting. DO NOT exceed that cap, no matter how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in an alternate pot. Do not spend your winnings at any cost. After you have wagered through your initial determine limit, stop. Call it quits, whether it’s on the net or in a land based gambling hall, don’t stick at the tables or machines. At all times remember, there will be another day, another time. Obviously, this process is able to work for any casino game that you play, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, 21 or any other game.

Remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, appalling work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the losses, don’t ever begin.
